Laughter Yoga

This benefits employees by helping to reduce the stress hormones Cortisol and Adrenaline impacting their immune systems. Based on a series of classical yoga postures, clients work as a group or partner together and are encouraged to “fake it ’til you make it” using “HA-HA” and other vocal laughter sounds to internally exercise their internal organs through vibration from laughter. This technique has been scientifically studied by Dr. Lee Burke, a Neuro-Immunologist at Loma Linda University, CA. He believes Laughter Yoga benefits and strengthens the immune system through the “internal jogging” exercise and by boosting Endorphins ~ the “feel good” hormones. This exercise can be done in brief 15 minute to 30 minute sessions. Clients report feeling less stressed and more energized after Laughter Yoga sessions.
